About this villa rental
Romantic, inspiring Mediterrean style villa, amongst the beauty of the mountains and seascapes, with portico for dining, pergola for cocktails and shaded sitting area amongst gardens 160sqm indoor and 120 sqm outdoor space. Please note that to reach the villa there is a pedestrian road roughly 200 meters followed by 160 steps.
The steps are not consecutive they are interrupted by narrow lanes lined by olive trees. We assure porter service on arrival and departure to carry your luggage. The beautiful views, peace and privacy are well worth the effort (said by our guests see reviews) The villa has a spacious, bright lounge and dining room, 40sqm, large window and two French windows leading to the Dolce Vita Terrace. It has comfortable sofas, smart tv with Netflix table and six chairs.
The kitchen is also spacious and bright, large window and French doors leading to the terrace. It is well equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave oven, dish washer, coffee machine, electric kettle. It also has a breakfast area with table and chairs. It also has the essentials, coffe, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar salt, pepper and other herbs. The Dolce Vita terrace has dining area, sunbeds, long bench, flower bed, plants and flowers. It leads to the pergola surounded with gardens. Upstairs the 2 bedrooms are also comfortable and bright with French windows leading to the upstairs Liberty Terrace, with table, 2 chairs and 2 stylish benches. The Cottage a small apartment with bedroom, small lounge, bathroom and small kitchen is on the lower floor. It has Italian architecture and a shabby chic style. It is also very bright with French window leading to the Shabby terrace with gazebo, table, chairs and deck chairs. There is also a laundry with washing machine, soap and drying rack available. We will meet you personally on arrival, to accompany you to the villa giving you information and advice of the area. where to go and what to do. We are always available during your stay usually through Whatsapp to anwer any questions or assistance. In short distance there are 2 restaurants, 2 supermarkets. bus stop for bus around town. to the beach or bus to nearby Positano. There is also a bar and atm machine where you can withdraw cash. We also have parking space for one car on the main road in walking distance without further charge. For longer stays we give free weekly cleaning. We can organize private transfer from airport, train station. Boat trips. and Chef for special dinner in villa.

The Villa is large, comfortable, and could not be more beautiful or more meticulously maintained by Daniele, your host. The photos do not do it justice and the view is more than incredible. The AC units all work perfectly and we were always comfortable. Whatever you may need for your stay, Daniele has already thought about it. If you need a driver from the Airport or Train Station to the Villa, he's got that covered. Want to rent a captain and boat for a special day on the water? He's got the connections. Everything we ever asked of him, he delivered, and then some. He is 100% reliable and a man of his word, a rare commodity these days. Excellent restaurants right down the stairs, especially Kasai with its incredible views and amazingly great cuisine. My only words of caution are the many stairs one must climb to reach the villa. If you have mobility issues, find another rental. However, if you are in good shape, and climbing over 100 steps up to reach the villa is not a problem for you, and you are looking for a relaxing, top notch, private Villa to stay at on the Amalfi coast, then look no further. This place is gorgeous! (PS: There are porters to bring your luggage up and down the stairs when you arrive and leave, so that is not an issue.) If you are considering the Villa Poesia, do not even think twice, just book it!! I just returned from a multi-generational trip with my family which included my parents, in their 70s and my sons in their 20s. Everything was wonderful, the views are beyond amazing. The pictures do not do it justice! We had the villa and cottage; each immaculate. Aside from the beauty of the villa and the charm of Praiano, Daniele our host was beyond welcoming and helpful! He arranged all our transportation, including the airport transports and daily transportation to our tours. He will help with reservations for tours, restaurants, etc. He checked in with us regularly just to make sure we didn't need anything and to confirm our reservations for the day. This was unlike any experience I've had renting with VRBO in the past! Praiano was the perfect home base. It is a beautiful, small and quiet town. We were easily able to plan day trips to Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi and Ravello. Do not be intimated by the stairs up to the villa, they are not so bad. My parents were able to do them, down and up each day, taking a couple of breaks along the way. There is also a wonderful little market at the bottom of the stairs with excellent meats, cheeses, prepared food, wine, and other essentials which was very convenient for evenings you don't want to go back out to dinner. The owners of the market also own a wonderful restaurant at the bottom of the stairs. I can only hope to return one day.

Daniele is a terrific host. He communicated with us from the moment we booked through our stay. I would say the only negative to the stay was the steps but frankly you would not get the view without them and it is spectacular. Take Daniele up on him grabbing groceries. The luggage was made easier as the porters were great. We took pride in showing people on a boat trip that where we were staying was the highest in Praiano!
Our stay was fantastic. If you can, book chef Tomasso.
