The apartment was just the right size and included a beautiful balcony view. It was located centrally in Orvieto allowing us to walk around to enjoy the gorgeous city and wonderful people. The host and his father were so very gracious and kind! I definitely would stay again!

First, the good news: friendly manager (Giuseppe) responded quickly on WhatsApp. Nice old building near the Duomo. Good air conditioning. Second: the problems. We reserved the apartment with balcony for 4 nights. The confirmation said it was on the 1st floor (1 flight up.) When we arrived, we learned that it was 2nd floor (note: the owner’s apt is on 1st floor) AND it was double-booked for 1 of the nights… We were given the choice of moving units during our stay or taking the ground floor. We took the ground, which meant no balcony or dedicated outdoor space. Shared deck is on the roof, and for 2 days we could not access it (separate key). WiFi went out several times.
Overall: we made the best of an okay apartment, but we were charged the same price as the nicer one that we reserved.
