About this house rental
History
The cherubs Nest is a charming Georgian merchants house built around 1730 with many original features.
For the last 19 years it been run as a successful Bed and Breakfast. In January 2019 it ceased trading as a B&B and was renovated and converted int a stylish holiday home
The House
On the ground floor is a modern and stylish kichen diner for 6 people with all the fixture ,fittings and appliances you would expect to find in a modern kitchen.
On the first floor you will find a very comfortable sitting room with comfortable leather sofas , TV with many tv and radio channels, also on this floor you will find a double en-suite bedroom with TV
On the second floor you will find a kingsize double bedroom and a twin ensuite bedroom.
Safety
For you safety the cherubs Nest is fitted with a wired fie alarm system ,fire doors and emergency lighting.
Position
The house is situated in Higher street which is the second road back from the river and is on the level.
All that Dartmouth as to offer is only a minute away.
Parking
The Cherubs Nest provide a free parking permit which covers the Mayors Avenue car park (a couple of minutes away)and several other car parks throughout the South hams.

The location is fantastic for checking out all the local music venues!
We really enjoyed having a private ensuite bathroom for each bedroom, even though they were on the small side. Just a heads up, there are quite a few stairs so it might not be the best choice for anyone with mobility issues or knee problems.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely tell our friends to check it out!

We really enjoyed staying at the Cherub’s Nest. It’s a perfect 3 storey town house right in the heart of Dartmouth. Local amenities are fantastic and further afield there are some great beaches and walks to enjoy around the Dart estuary. Highly recommended!
