Beautiful contemporary architect villa for 6 people. Located in lush greenery you can relax in peace cradled by the song of cicadas. The garden
of 2500 m2 is closed and sported with private swimming pool without opposite. A patogoire adjoining the large pool will delight the youngest.

From the moment you drive down into the villa you know you are in for something special. The place is a world on its own. Overlooking Avignon and Mont Ventoux, the scenery is stunning. We woke up early to have breakfast on the terrace and watch the sunrise over the mountain. A perfect way to start the day. The salt water pool was perfect. No smell of chemicals. The water was nice and warm. We were working all day at the Avignon OFF Festival and coming back here gave us the relaxation and energy. Beatrice and Jean-Paul were excellent hosts and great fun to talk to also. The only thing that I wish was different is the checkin time. It would be really nice if we could check in a bit earlier because you lose the day. But Beatrice & Jean-Paul made every effort to prepare the place as soon as possible.
I have already booked it for next year.

This beautiful family home is set high up in the hills of Villeneuve and provides a lovely view over the town and towards Avignon from the terrace. The terrace itself is large and provides several seating areas allowing you to change your view of the gardens as the mood takes you. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and an excellent BBQ. Internally the house was elegantly furnished and a comfortable place to relax.
Its location to Avignon and surrounding towns in Provence is ideal. We were able to catch a bus to Avignon near to the house (approx. 10 minutes walk) to allow us to pick up a number of excellent tours which depart from the tourist office. Using the bus allowed us to enjoy a wonderful day out wine tasting in Chateau Neuf du Pape without the worry of having to drive.
Beatrice and Jean-Paul we amazing hosts. Through our numerous correspondence with them before the holiday we felt as if we already knew them. Our French language skills were limited but Beatrice came armed with her translation app and we were able to communicate with ease. Beatrice and Jean-Paul could not have been more helpful and we would highly recommend this property .

A slice of French heaven! My famiy of three stayed here one week and it felt like a dream. The pool was private and relaxing - everything our teen daughter wanted in a vacation experience! We were thrilled with the location and ease in which we could take day trips by car to many famous towns in Provence. We drove into Avignon several mornings to explore, and spent our evenings dining al fresco at the villa, using the outdoor grill. My daughter and I read books every afternoon on the terrace. Despite the mistral winds, the natural beauty of this property, it's superb furnishings, upstairs air-conditioning, and ammentities, made our summer vacation in France one we will never forget!

We have just arrived home after spending seven wonderful days as guests of Beatrice and Jean-Paul.
Where to start?
The property - modern, spacious, tastefully decorated, fully equipped and scrupulously clean. The air conditioning made the house perfectly cool even when it was 39 degrees.
Outside, there were many spaces to relax, a lovely dining area, a beautiful pool with a separate shallow area perfect for younger ones (or even for the older ones to lie in when the temperature gets too high!) and the most beautiful views I have seen in a long time. You must make sure you get up and have your first morning coffee watching the sun rise over Mont Ventoux - a truly spectacular sight.
Villeneuve -les-Avignon and Avignon are short bus rides away and offer many good bars and restaurants, good shops or simply some nice walks around historic Avignon. My only advice is that if you do rent this property - and I strongly recommend it - hire a car to make the most of it. Buses tend to finish running relatively early and taxis are - sporadic to say the least.
Our hosts were simply brilliant, there to welcome us and give us plenty of advice and help, then on hand if we needed them but totally inobtrusive. The garden was watered and pool cleaned during our stay but we hardly noticed they were there.
All in all, a lovely, restful 7 days in a beautiful house
