About this villa rental
The villa is situated near Avignon, in the town of Villeneuve les Avignon (Gard). Its hillside construction, on a plot of 2000m2 in a gated community called ‘Les Villégiales’, offers wonderful 180˚ views on the Rhone Valley, Mont Ventoux, the Luberon, the Alpilles, and the Palais des Papes. The area is residential and very quiet.
The living area, R+1 (main floor) has a large terrace of close to 200m2 with shaded areas, yard, gazebo and infinity pool (in direct view of the kitchen picture window, making it easy to monitor). The pool is fully automated: filtration system, salt treatment, PH, integrated child safety/shutter/thermal insulation.
On the ground floor a large garage can park several vehicles out of the sun (in addition to external private spaces) or can be used as a games room: for ping pong etc.
Villa with all the comforts of home:
Two air-conditioned rooms upstairs with shared bathroom (shower + jacuzzi). Downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilet, and a mezzanine for children (lots of games) with a low, armless easy chair that can convert into a child’s bed. Beds: downstairs — a large adjustable (head and foot) bed of 180 (90x2) x210, the two upstairs bedrooms offer convertible beds of 160x200 and 140x190 Bultex (mattress type) respectively.
Home theater in living room with flat screen, amplifier, DVD player SD. Fully equipped kitchen.
In summary, the villa is very spacious, pleasant and functional for living with terrace and pool accessible from the ground floor.

We had a wonderful week in this house. It has a lovely homely feeling to it, with everything we needed for an easy stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the house, including the ‘Gite’ were spotlessly clean.
This is a beautiful area of France, with lots to do and we found the house to be a great location to explore the surroundings.
From booking to leaving, all that we spoke with were most helpful and courteous- even with our use of French being a bit rusty!

Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa en août.Rien à dire sur l’accueil qui a été des plus sympathiques.La villa est très pratique et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire.
Très grande propreté également.
Aucun problème pour garer plusieurs véhicules vu la taille géante du garage et des places de parking extérieures ( on peut mettre 4 voitures facilement)
Attention cependant à l’annonce manque de clarté sur un point :Le logement principal comprend six couchages, les quatre autres couchages étant dans un logement accolé à la villa en contrebas, il faut donc traverser toute la maison en passant par la cave et les garages pour rejoindre ce logement ce qui en soi n’est pas problématique sauf si on tient à y faire dormir de jeunes enfants seuls; dans ce cas le logement est un petit peu loin des chambres parentales , Ce qui n’est pas très rassurant pour un parent angoissé comme moi!
Autre petit point négatif , au mois d’août à partir de 18 heures 18h30 la piscine n’a plus d’ensoleillement, Car la terrasse décrite comme plein sud est un petit peu plus sud-est que sud ouest et qu’en plus une grande palissade en bois est placée sur le côté ouest de la piscine afin d’ éviter les vis-à-vis avec l’immeuble voisin.
Attention aussi au voisinage qui a priori ne supporte pas trop le bruit car nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de recevoir un matin un coup de fil de l’agence nous demandant d’être moins bruyant alors que la veille nous avions simplement fait des jeux de société avec les enfants qui, il est vrai, riaient aux éclats sur la terrasse.
Si les trois points négatifs évoqués ci-dessus ne vous pose pas de problème ,allez-y vraiment les yeux fermés car la maison est vraiment très très très confortable et l’on s’y sent très bien

Villa très agréable, on s’y sent pratiquement comme chez soi. Vaisselle...,tout est en quantité suffisante pour une dizaine de personnes. Calme de la résidence et proximité d’ Avignon en font un endroit idéal pour le festival d’Avignon.

Very large property over three levels with spectacular views from Mount Ventoux all the way over Avignon . Separate flat at the bottom. Every gizmo under the sun and the owners are obviously proud of it. Shops relatively close by and only a few miles down the hill into Avignon.
Only downside was the mosquitos in the evening but it is a problem over the area.
Otherwise spectacular.
