The place was beautifully clean, fresh and bright. (The cleaners do a great job.) There was a generous stock of necessities which was appreciated. The host was responsive and super friendly. The position was perfect and the view was amazing. It was surprisingly quiet and the sofa bed was very comfortable, which surprised me! Great value for money. I loved every minute I was there and am keen to return.
It wasn't an issue for me (63 years old) but the 3 flights of stairs are quite steep, (typical for the character of a home built in that era) so if you're elderly or have mobility issues it won't suit you. Like I said, not an issue for most people.

The view over the coast and city were lovely. The beach-view is partly blocked by trees, though.
The location is very central in the old part of the town. Only a stone's throw from shopping- and sightseeing opportunities, restaurants and the beach. There's a very nice and convenient restaurant downstairs, public parking across the street and a public parking garage around the corner.
Very narrow and steep stairs up to the apartment. Not recommendable for elderly or walking-impaired.
It gets very hot during the day and there is no air conditioning except for a large mobile fan. It can be a challange to keep the room cooled during nights without opening the windows, in which case you'll have to deal with a lot of late-night and early-morning motor-noise from the street. Do bring ear-plugs!
The sofa-bed was not very comfortable.
