Before our arrival, we were told that the key would be in a lockbox. However, when we arrived, the key was not there. We waited outside for about 20 minutes, thinking someone would come to bring it to us. We sent messages and emails but received no response at all. Eventually, we went upstairs and luckily met some neighbors who directed us to an apartment where the owners were staying. They gave us the key but seemed completely uninterested — they just handed it over, briefly showed us where to go, and that was it.
What if we had arrived late at night? If it is clearly stated that the key will be in the lockbox, then I expect it to actually be there, not to have to search around with luggage in hand trying to figure out where to go.
Also, the Booking listing stated that private parking was available. Before arriving, I sent a message asking where the parking was, and we were directed to a paid public parking area instead. The price was not high (around 5 euros), so the cost itself is not the main issue — but if private parking is advertised, then a proper parking spot should be provided, or it should not be listed at all.
There were also some other minor issues, but they were more typical and manageable.
