This apartment was immaculate, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, great common area, three (3!) flat screen televisions. Most notable was the reception we received from the hotel to get the keys. Friendly, efficient, responsive, courteous, charming: all of these words. They do a credit to the industry.
At some stage during the afternoon we arrived while we were resting from our trip, a cleaning lady let herself in despite our protestations to the contrary (she eventually withdrew). But this can happen and was hardly problematic. Lastly, we cannot comment on the price given that we have no reference point in Bologna to compare it with. But we would certainly return.

The apartment itself is beautiful and brand new. Great living space, comfortable bed, beautiful kitchen, lovely modern bath.
First, the apartments are not located at or near the hotel. They are a short walk, five minutes away but found it odd that wasn't clearly explained when booking. The person that walked us to the unit did not speak English so no instructions could be given at the unit. There is an elevator but because the host couldn't explain it, at certain times you need to use a key to open the elevator door on the main floor for security reasons. Since we didn't know that we walked a few times during our stay as the ground floor elevator door would not open. On the day of checkout the elevator was very busy (there is construction in the building going on) so we had to walk our bags down three flights of stairs. The worst part of the unit is the smell. They definitely have a sewer gas problem and try to mask it with plug in room scent which is overwhelming. We opted to unplug them and deal with the smell. Lastly when the building hot water system turns on in the morning the noise that the expanding pipes make could wake the dead.
