Walk to Santa Monica Beach & Pier I Free Parking!

Great location in Santa Monica given proximity to the beach, restaurants, promenade and more. Helpful that there was free garage parking but there was also a good amnt of street parking. The host was very nice but it was strange that we weren’t given the right address up front. We went to the address in the posting and then had to call only to find out we needed to drive to another location within a mile to the actual address. Then the code to the lockbox was wrong so we had to call again to get the correct code. At that point the host met us in the parking structure to ensure we could navigate to the unit without issue.

The unit was average. There was minimal cookware, 3 forks so we had to wash everything by hand following meals; towels had hair on them even though they were ‘clean’; couch was very low and soft which is not great as a 2nd ‘bed’ option; blinds to the slider were broken

It was nice to have parking and coffee pods supplied. Communication was easy.

The address was a bit strange, needing to go to a different one than the one originally communicated. The building itself and the hallways are not very nice, with dogs barking as you walk and even dog poop in the hallway. The apartment itself is not very bright, lacking a bit of decent lighting and the window slats don't work well. I would suggest not using the dishwasher. The soundproofing is not good and in some places in the apartment, the neighbors sound like they are in the same room almost.
