About this villa rental
With an outstanding sunset view high above the sea, newly built Villa Nova is both privately located at the end of the road and close to all amenities. For swimming in Gournaviken it is only a 14 minute walk through a shady olive grove. You have the opportunity for total relaxation and comfortable moments under the pergolas around the house. Every room has its own entrance and exit to the patio. Take an unenclosed morning or evening dip in the pool. .
The space
The Master Bedroom on the upper floor is a double bed that also has its own private bathroom with a shower. Fall asleep and wake up to the amazing views of the Gourna Bay and towards the islands of Levitha, Amorgos and on a clear day also Naxos and Paros. Watch the sun and sometimes even the moon set in the sea from the bed 11 months a year. Private balcony with pergola on the upper floor. Hammock.
In the studio you can stay to yourselves. It is separate from the rest of the house with it's own entrance. It has a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The room has a sea view over the patio on the ground floor, but also views of the garden. Private kitchenette with, among other things, induction hob and fridge.
The third and smaller bedroom is located on the ground floor and contains a very comfortable sofa bed. Also this room has its own private entrance/exit to the patio by the back garden. It has a TV screen with the ability to connect your own computer or mobile phone. Toilet/ bathroom is also found in the immediate vicinity of this room.
Guest access
The entire house with the plot is available for our guests. The garage is not included, but feel free to use the car that gives the car much needed shade.
Other things to note
Villa Nova is located on part of the island that just like Leros, is located a little off the beaten track. This is not where mass tourism reaches and you live right in the countryside. Closest neighbors live a bit below the villa, which gives an experience of having houses and surroundings for yourself while Drymonas is a stone's throw away. On Sundays, the church bell rings into the fair. All of this provides a unique experience of being in “real Greece.” At the same time, there is proximity to everything at Leros. It's never far, wherever you go. From the airport in the north to the south of Leros, it takes half an hour by car. To the accommodation from the flight or the ferries, about 15 and 10 minutes respectively. To the well-stocked grocery store it's 5 minutes. It is a 14 minute walk through a shady olive grove for swimming in Gourna bay. It is convenient with a rental car or scooter delivered directly to the airport or ferry location, for this listing.
This is a great place for guests longing for space, genuinity, privacy and nature. We try to make it as comfortable and up to date as possible, but bear in mind, it does not have hotel standard, it is our second home.
