About this villa rental
The residence is located in South-East Rhodes, about 3.5 km from the traditional settlement of Gennadi and 15 minutes from Lindos, right next to a quiet beach. The coastline/beach of Gennadi (nearby), one of the best of the island, has been touristically developed in a resort of Rhodes, within the last few years. The house featuring minimal Mediterranean architecture with frugal cubic volumes and pale colours in white-beige for the walls and cypress for the frames, fitting perfectly into the natural landscape. The garden has lime trees, olive trees, fig trees, quince trees, local plants, flowers, and a small vineyard. The current trees and plants, as well as the remaining still-unexploited extent of the garden, are available for cultivation.

The house is very close to the beach we walked down for a morning swim every morning and on a beach miles long only saw one or two people in the distance. This is probably due to the location which is in an undeveloped part of Rhodes so was very quiet.
I particularly enjoyed being able to watch the sun come up over the sea from the bedroom, mind you we were there in october, so it was not that early
The facilities were excellent and the lady who met us and showed us around was lovely and helpful
The local village Gennadi was close and we ate out in a different Taverna most nights
What I found particularly good was before we went Dimitris the owner was very responsive and was able to answer all my queries promptly and helpfully
We could not fault it really and hope to return next year

The house is in a lovely position, very close to the beach and up a quiet track. There is plenty of room and the facilities are very good. The kitchen is well equipped and although we ate out most evenings, we found all we needed when we did prepare our meals at the house. The house was clean and well looked after.
