T2 climatisé face Loire et château le 4-4

L'appartement est bien situé, avec une vue imprenable sur la Loire et le château. L'appartement est très propre, et bien équipé (four, micro-onde, lave-vaisselle,..), et très fonctionnel. Les équipements et matériaux sont vraiment de qualité, et il est très agréable d'y habiter.

Globalement tout est très bien, donc pas de point négatif à signaler.

The location was lovely and had a terrific view of the Royal Chateau in Amboise. Easy to access the city on foot, and easy to grab a bus to visit Chenonceaux or a train to visit Tours or Blois. A five minute walk from the train station. There are great restaurants in town, three chateaux to visit including the wonderful Clos Luce, Leonardo da Vinci's last home. The apartment was clean, very well designed, had adequate cookware if you want to cook, and a very comfortable bed and sofa bed and a nice patio in front facing Amboise and the Loire. An award-winning butcher nearby along with a boulangerie, and Aldi's is just down the street if you need to pick up any groceries or other items. Made for a lovely stay.

The apartment could have been better stocked with basics like toilet paper and paper towels. Those are essentials that should be provided but we had to purchase our own and I felt like we were restocking for the next guests what wasn't provided for us. A very minor point but I did contact the host a couple of times about it and received no response except that he'd been out of town. I sent a note later saying we'd picked some up and his response was great, glad you are taken care of. That was annoying. Romain had also said he would meet us when we arrived but then later communicated that he couldn't meet us after all. The lock box didn't work so we retrieved the key from a hidden spot. Romain came later during our stay to fix the lock box, so we did get to meet him, but he didn't forewarn us that he was coming and simply showed up. We had just gotten up from a nap and we were relieved he hadn't come earlier. We understand things come up, and Romain was very personable but it was a little awkward. Clearer communication could easily resolve these kinds of issues.

L'emplacement sur la Loire..La terrasse avec vue sur le Château d'Amboise. Boucherie/Charcuterie, Boulangerie en face. Épicerie (Aldi) à distance de marche. Excellente qualité des équipements et accessoires fournis. Appartement joliment décoré. Lit super confortable. Avons rencontré les proprios qui sont très sympathiques. Tout était parfait.
