What a gem of a place! I was looking for something nice - not super luxurious with all the bells and whistles, but nice with a kitchen with decent amenities and a sea view and a porch. This had exactly what I was looking for! It is small but well-appointed, the beds are fairly comfortable, and the view is gorgeous. It was a bit too cold for swimming, but the small point is a good place to dive into. You are a swimmer, or there are a couple smaller beaches within walking distance with gradual slopes. The town of Mochlos is tiny with a large number of delicious Cretan restaurants, and everyone was very friendly. If you want to be close to the action and night life, it's a probably not for you. It's a bit of a drive to see some of the sights. But if you are looking for a quiet hideaway, it's just perfect.
