About this villa rental
Surrounded by the wild lanscape of Lasithi mountains on an elevated postion sits our Traditional Villa Karmilos. Sissi ,a lovely sea side town is located west just 5 minutes by car from our Villa, were you may find noumerous shopping centers , S/Ms , Tavernas , Cafes and even a great SPA (Vasia).Only 5 km East lies Milatos a fishing village ideal for its fish deli food. The vila is located in 16km east of the famous and vital Malia Town.A really peaceful private place - a sole ownership.
The space
Karmilos Private Villa extends 4 acres which includes Olive grove and Vineyard. A peacefull place for both summer and winter vacation.
A beatiful Villa with 2 rooms, 1 bathroom and a main kitchen/dinning area. There are lovely gardens all around the villa with many different trees, herbs and flowers. Along with a traditional wood burning stove and a lovely stone-grill barbeque for your private BBQ nights. A long 10 person wooden dinning table under a lovely wooden pergola.
Inside the house there is a fireplace with two large sofas and a big dinning table. It is equipped with Espresso/Filter Coffee maker, TV, Air Condition, CD Player. Master bedroom has one (1) double size bed, mirror, big closet, Air Condition and a lovely small balcony. Second bedroom has two (2) single beds, a small closet and direct access to the back yard. There are also two narrow sofas by the fireplace, that can be used for sleep . Also there is a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom with shower cabin and a washing machine.
Since we are on the hillside, there are no amenities or shops at a short walking distance (only a gas station 2 mins away by car), but there are several restaurants, stores, bars, cafes and many local spots just 5 min driving from the house in Sisi town. Many of our guests enjoy hiking our beautiful neighborhood! Ideal also if you like cycling, nature excursions or just swimming and sun tanning. Please remember to enjoy beatiful sunset.
Moreover,those interested in Cretan local cuisine could join our Traditional Cretan Cuisine Cooking Class which are taking place in the nearby Olive Groove just next to the Villas Entrance.You will learn how to prepare and cook cretan dishes and meze's and how to proper taste them alongside with exceptional local wines and spirits.You are more than welcome to book a seat.

Since we live on a hillside there are multiple levels and steps around the property, we always ask to be careful. We also inform you that the property is not accessible for wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Also the property might not be appropriate for small children since there are multiple levels.

The rental is for exclusive use of the house, terraces and courtyard garden.
Interaction with guests
At your arrival one member of our family will welcome you with a traditional gift.
Once or twice a week the owner shall visit the house to take care of the gardens and will be available to visitors for any guidance. We are also just a phonecall away...

The rate quoted is for 4 persons with some free of charge options for additional guests (please feel free to ask for extra guests options).Hot water available via Sun Boiler Heater.A Climate Tax which amounts 8 euro per night.
