The lodge has a super king bed in the master bedroom with an ensuite shower room. The second double bedroom has twin beds/double. Large family bathroom with double shower. Cosy separate dining room with French door to patio decking. Lounge/kitchen with breakfast bar with wood burner, bed settee for 2. Fully equipped kitchen with air fryer, bi/-folding doors to large wrap around patio decking with great views across the farm and animals. There is a non sleeping, beach hut for hire by negotiation on the front by Seaview and Puckpool.
Ryde is a lovely cultural seaside town with great mainland links, yellow sand, sunbed hire reminding you of being in a faraway sunny climates, a Pier, a large bus station with links around the island and boutique and vintage shops, restaurants, an arcade and ten pin bowling too. Many events are held through the year on Ryde front, you’ll love it, never a dull moment.
Relax or pop down to Ryde’s award winning Sandy beach, there are some wonderful cafes besides the beach, often they’ll be music in a Sunday lunch time too. Appley Tower can be accessed it’s situated on Ryde beach, there are plenty of activities for the children too. Go karting can be booked if you want a buzz, it’s accessed by a bus which goes to the big Tesco Extra.
Wootton & Ryde & Sandown are home to railway travel and Wootton has the Steam railway too. There’s so much for you and your family to do and explore on the island, not to mention the famous ‘Needles’, West Cowes is a short drive away and is home to the sailing fraternity, a great vibe throughout the High Street and surrounding area, it’s home to a fab M&S food hall. 7 Sailing Clubs with organised Regattas and events and of course Cowes week events, Northwood house puts in music and food throughout the summer, events too, you can try your hand to cricket on the bramble bank when it dries out at the end of the summer too, there are many restaurants and shops to frequent, you never know who’ll you’ll bump into. Home to Redjet and Cowes chain ferry. If you like water sports you’re in for a real treat, the island has a vast selection, in West Wight, Tapnell Farm has good food, activities, animals and a water park. Something for all ages.
