The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was excellent with easy access to transport and shops, and the price was very good for the value offered.
Nothing significant, everything was as described.

Locatie is dicht bij de metro en dicht bij een supermarkt.
Goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg.
Wij waren met 3 stellen. Het is dan prettig om meerdere sleutels te hebben.
Wij kwamen met 2 auto's terwijl er maar 1 parkeerplaats is. Gelukkig is dichtbij een parkeergarage (en deze was op het moment van ons bezoek gratis)

There were several unique heavy wooden pieces that added to the atmosphere, including a mirror and coffee table.
Its location was excellent. Just a short RER & tram ride from Gare du Nord & central Paris. There were excellent bakeries, restaurants & a store within a 5 minute walk. The Basilica was also about 5 minutes away. I loved the local atmosphere. But we arrived after dark and that was not my first impression.
The customer service was unbelievably bad. We read about the security deposit but that said they would invoice us 14 days before arrival. That would have been within my cancellation period. Instead they waited until the day before arrival to demand payment through a 3rd party that we had never heard of. It was too late to cancel and book elsewhere. And even though we had already paid they would not give us an access code unless we paid the deposit through this service we had never heard of.
Then when we arrived, instead of the nice note of welcome and clear set of instructions that greeted us at the other property in Avignon, it was a list of charges and threats (see photos).
If this were a posh penthouse suite, I could understand but it was not. Only those lovely wooden pieces were of real value. The floors had not been mopped. I would take a shower and my feet would be dusty in 5 minutes. The utensil drawer in the kitchen would not open properly because of the placement of the dishwasher. The pots and pans were rusty and would not be acceptable in a UK charity shop. And numerous items were broken, including the very uncomfortable couch, the clothes rack, and most crucial - the fan. Yes, for a 3-bedroom rental there was only 1 fan, and its base was broken. We messaged them Friday evening upon arrival. They never responded.
Bottom line...would I stay there again? Maybe. For Paris the price was good. But I want others to know what they are getting for their money so they can make an informed decision. As I said, of the 3 places we stayed on this trip, this was the only one that disappointed. And much of that was down to the customer service or rather lack of it.
