Welcome to The Forest & Sea Retreat! Relax in this calm, stylish, spacious home. This luxurious rental features designer touches and is truly one of a kind! Situated on a private 5 acre property, with lush green lawns, and surrounded by enchanting private woods. Enjoy incredible views of majestic Mt. Baker, and stunning ocean views. The relaxing hot tub is the perfect spot to watch the charming resident ferry make its crossing. This gorgeous property sleeps 10 and is big enough for the whole family!
The open living room has high vaulted ceilings and large windows offering views of the forest and sea. It also features a cozy seating area and a wood burning stove. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Just off the living area is a large deck. This gorgeous deck is encompassed by tall trees and offers lots seating for everyone. It boasts stunning ocean views that can be enjoyed while relaxing with your favorite beverage or a good book.
This home also features a large kitchen that seamlessly flows into the dining and living areas, perfect for entertaining and large groups. The many large windows allow you to gaze out at the beautiful views while you prepare a delicious meal. We supply basic cooking ingredients like salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.
The primary bedroom is spacious with a king-sized bed, en suite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower, and ample closet space. Ideal for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The second upstairs bedroom features a cozy queen bed, a picturesque window with a view of nature, and an en suite bathroom complete with a shower and bathtub.
This vacation rental offers a spacious and comfortable bottom-level living area with 2 beds, a sleeper sofa, and a seating area with a large TV. Enjoy an amazing view from the patio and relax in the outdoor seating area.
The patio also has a 6 person hot tub. Enjoy ultimate relaxation as you soak in the warm, bubbling water, surrounded by world-class views.
There is another large bathroom located on the second floor complete with a walk-in shower.
Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and a first aid kit.
*** Please note there is no gas station on Lummi Island and you will need to fill up before you arrive.
*** For guests traveling between April and June- The Whatcom Chief Ferry goes in to dry dock for maintenance. This means that there is no substitute for a vehicle ferry service and the island is only accessible via ferry for foot passengers and bikes. Dry dock season typically lasts for about 3 weeks and exact dates are posted on The Whatcom County website. Please reach out and we can help you plan your stay!

The property was beautiful, and as our first visit to Lummi Island, we didn’t want to leave!! Beautiful home, wonderful amenities and a welcome basket at our arrival! Can’t wait to return!
