Are you looking for a serene waterfront setting on a picturesque island in the San Juan Islands that's also close to the mainland? Do you want to wake up to beautiful ocean views with a private beach to explore tidepools and watch the local wildlife? Come and stay at the “Crabbin’ Cottage” for a great romantic getaway or vacation with the family.
Our house is on a 3/4 acre waterfront lot with over 80’ of private waterfront. Lummi Island is the most accessible of the San Juans, and our house is a short bike ride away from the ferry, the Islander Store, and the Beach Store Cafe. Feel free to launch your boat a short drive down the road and use our mooring buoy in front of the house. In addition, it's a great spot for kayaking, biking, hiking, and beachcombing.
The house is set up with an open kitchen that includes stainless appliances. There are two fireplaces (firewood is NOT provided) and a large deck to watch local boats and the Alaskan Ferry as you sip a hot cup of coffee or a glass of wine. There are 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds. In addition, we have a spacious daylight basement which includes a wet bar and allows accommodations for up to four more people with a bunk bed and couch.
This cozy house is equipped for both a short or long stay. We have a large, Smart TV with many movies to choose from, as well as games and books available for entertainment. Our hope is that our house will provide a place for you to make amazing memories with loved ones.

We stayed here for two night for our anniversary and absolutely loved everything about our stay. The home was very clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and was so comfortable and relaxing. The views from the living room, balcony and yard are stunning and we spent most of our time taking. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check-in and check-out processes were easy and clear. We loved our stay so much and will be back to visit again.

We spent a wonderful late-summer weekend at this Lummi Island cabin and could not have been more delighted. The cabin was perfectly equipped with everything a family travelling with children could need, making our stay both easy and enjoyable.The spacious grounds provided plenty of room for play, and the waterfront offered endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. The whole property, much like the island itself, exudes peace and relaxation — the perfect retreat from the bustle of daily life.The owner was attentive and helpful at check-out, ensuring the experience was seamless from start to finish. Our family is already looking forward to returning, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a memorable and restorative getaway.
