The Harlow House is a spacious home on the West Shore of Lummi Island. Named after a boat located on the property that was said to be built for actress Jean Harlow in the 1920's.
The home provides breathtaking ocean views of Legoe Bay and The San Juan Islands. There is also a relaxing hot tub and an infrared sauna. The space is perfect for large groups and families, and also creates the magical setting for a romantic getaway.

Enjoy the living area that boasts a spacious open floor plan. Adorned with many large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The living room has lots of comfortable seating and a large TV equipped with an Amazon Firestick so you can stream your favorite TV shows and movies.
Make lasting memories at the 11 foot hand-crafted Douglas Fir table . Perfect for enjoying your favorite board games or sharing a delicious meal.
Our fully stocked kitchen is equipped with utensils and cooking supplies and features all full-sized appliances. We supply basic cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. The kitchen is located just off the dining and living area. The rustic island is perfect for socializing and enjoying the view while preparing a meal.
Cozy up next to the warm gas fireplace as you take in the dreamy seascape.
The front door opens to a spacious deck. The perfect area for lounging and enjoying a tasty beverage while taking in the setting sun.
There are 3 cozy bedrooms to enjoy. The spacious master bedroom is beautifully decorated and complete with an en suite bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Look out the window and you can spot Orcas Island!
There are 2 other lovely bedrooms each with a queen bed. These rooms share a 3/4 bathroom with a shower.
The home also has a small office space perfect for those working remotely.
Located in the garage is a washer and dryer available for guest use. There is also a ping pong table for you to enjoy!
Right off the east side of the house is a lovely patio. Use the outdoor fireplace to roast some smores- or cook a special meal with local seafood and produce on the propane grill.
The property provides plenty of lawn space. Have fun with our outdoor activities and lawn games.
Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and a first aid kit.
*** Please note there is no gas station on Lummi Island and you will need to fill up before you arrive.
*** For guests travelling between April and June- The Whatcom Chief Ferry goes in to dry dock for maintenance. This means that there is no substitute for a vehicle ferry service and the island is only accessible via ferry for foot passengers and bikes. Dry dock season typically lasts for about 3 weeks and exact dates are posted on The Whatcom County website. Please reach out and we can help you plan your stay!

This home was spacious and beautiful. All the amenities ( sauna, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor lounge area, ping pong table,…) make for the perfect family vacation. We had a wonderful time and will definitely book again in the future. Ashley and Brittany were stellar host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Everything was well organized. I appreciated the gift card to the local coffee shop. The island is very beautiful and this location really captures that beauty.

We (family of 4 with 2adult children + dog) had such a great time at Harlow House for our second visit.Tons of space, windows and great amenities. The pickleball court, hot tub and sauna put it over the top! 10-15 min walk to a local public beach with the best sunsets (right out the driveway - look for a gravel spot where a couple cars can park and a small opening in the hedge where the trail is. No signage so easy to miss). Hosts are super responsive. We’ll be back!

Amazing water view straight from the house.
Long wooden table that can easily accommodate 8+ for dinner or board games.
It was great having access to pickleball, ping-pong, and space for lawn games whenever we wanted to.
The island is cute and fun to explore.
