Filled with art and stylish, yet comfortable furniture, all suites have spectacular views of the Southern Oregon coast. Beach access and restaurants are literally steps away.
The newly constructed building contains 5 suites, each with their own deck.
The King Salmon Suite is on the ground floor of the building and features a living/dining space, kitchenette, bathroom and an ocean view deck with a gas grill. The bedroom includes both a work space and a closet. The bathroom has heated tile floors, a walk-in shower, and a heated towel rack!

The location and view in Port Orford are truly exceptional — five stars without question. Unfortunately, several issues made it hard to fully enjoy our stay. We arrived with food to grill for dinner, only to find the outdoor grill had been removed without notice. The small induction hotplate provided wasn’t an adequate replacement for cooking our meal, so we had to eat out at extra expense.There was water on the floor when we arrived and a disgusting stain on the couch that we had to clean ourselves; afterward, no one felt comfortable sitting there. While the rest of the space was clean, we also experienced recurring problems with the hot water. Despite following the host’s suggestion, it often took more than 20 minutes for warm water to appear — and sometimes it never did. At best, there was enough hot water for one shower before it ran cold again. And we never got hot again before we left, leaving one of us without a shower.Adding to the frustration, the extra large doors in the units and shared exit banged repeatedly as other guests came and went, especially early in the morning. The property’s design looks beautiful in photos, but in practice, it lacks comfort and functionality. In hindsight, a traditional hotel might have been a better choice for a more reliable and restful stay.
