Villa Idillio is located on the Amalfi side of the peninsula of Sorrento. Its excellent position enjoys splendid views upon the sea and the Amalfi coast. Built in the 1960s it is an example of the architecture and design of that period. It has been perfectly preserved and it is the ideal holiday accommodation for those who want to visit this corner of the coast reaching all the most famous towns such as Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi. It is possible to travel without using a car seeing that the bus-stop is just outside the gate of the villa. You can go on fabulous boat trips to the island of Capri and to Amalfi. The local cuisine is famous for its fish and seafood dishes and there is an excellent pizzeria just 200m from the villa. In the garden there is the barbeque area with a table for open-air meals and the irregular-shaped, illuminated swimming pool (9x4, 2.10m deep)(01/05-30/10). The villa has air conditioning in the bedrooms, central heating, wi-fi Internet connection, baby bed and high chair. Included in the price are 4 hours cleaning service on Tuesdays. To be requested and paid for on location: extra cleaning hours, baby sitter, chef, cookery courses, boat rental, sailing boat excursions. Car park on the property for 4 cars.

Staying in this beautiful home in the Hills of Sorrento exceeded our expectations.The house is truly an architectural masterpiece, easy to navigate, with stunning views all around. It offers excellent privacy and tranquility, allowing us to enjoy music while spending quality time with family by the impeccably clean pool. We all had a fantastic time around the pool area.The grill section was amazing, featuring a long table for everyone to gather. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and each had a window or balcony option. The European-inspired decor added a delightful touch of tradition to our trip.Interestingly, we found that the rental app's pictures didn't do justice to this gorgeous house.Located just 15 to 20 minutes from Positano and Sorrento, the home provided easy access to the port for trips to Capri, which is a must!Our host was courteous, kind, and incredibly accommodating.We’re already looking forward to returning to this stunning home with our grandparents and more family members.Cheers, M.

Our group enjoyed this house. Great outdoor space and the views were spectacular. The inside of the house was clean and had ample space for our group. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Bedrooms were spacious by all accounts. Beds were big but the mattresses could have been a bit more soft (if you prefer firm then you should be comfortable). Kitchen was a good size and perfect for our group. Updates were good but we would recommend a new refrigerator as the unit could not produce ice. I think a good addition for the house would be a sectional sofa of some type to allow for gathering in the main downstairs room (current furniture is not too comfortable). Beautiful landscaping and the pool was great. Due to the time period we were staying, mosquitos were an issue so just be prepared to have some with you. Local nearby market was good to have as you could easily walk there. Location was great in terms of the other villages to visit (Positano, Sorrento, etc). However, the house is not walking distance to either so you either need a car or other forms of transportation. The owner of the villa provided a very reliable name for a driver and this worked perfectly for our group. All in all, this house worked great for our group.
