About this house rental
In the countryside at the confluence of the Sarthe, Loir-et-Cher and Indre-et-Loire, you will enjoy the hiking trails from the gate of the house. Rich in two rivers, you will refresh yourself on the banks of the Braye near the Moulin de la Flotte and continue the walk to Ile Verte where on the Loir, the stele of Ronsard will deliver its ode.
Sarthe side:
2 km away, the castle of Poncé open to visits as well as the church, with freshly renovated murals and frescoes, which dominates the village.
The bodies of water of Ruillé and Chartre are easily accessible, it is possible to have a picnic there.
The old railway line recently converted into a greenway offers 33 km of a compacted sand route where pedestrians and cyclists can discover the Loir Valley.
Loir-et-Cher side:
Less than 8 km away, Trôo, classified as a Small City of Character, will take you for a walk through the paths of the village to discover the troglodyte houses and the many very inspired artists.
Just next to Montoire-sur-le-Loir, the only Most Beautiful Village in France in Loir-et-Cher, which responds to the name of Lavardin, buried in lush greenery on the banks of the Loir and the still impressive ruins of its medieval castle.
Indre-et-Loire side:
Tours, the ancient Gallo-Roman city now a university town allows you to admire the Loire, the longest river flowing in France, from the Ardèche to the Loire-Atlantique.
For adults and children, the Family Park amusement park welcomes you throughout the summer season.
And then Amboise, its castle and the last story of Leonardo da Vinci at Clos Lucé.
A stay rich in nature, culture which also passes through the Loire Wine Routes, itineraries in the heart of the vineyards of the Loire hills, cellars and picturesque estates.
