Le Cocon Bayeusain x Parking by Melrose

Excellent location. A few minutes walk from restaurants and main points of interest, such as Bayeux Cathedral. Comfortable double bed, sofa bed was reasonably comfortable too. We had a message from the host a day before arrival detailing directions and the exact parking spot for the apartment. This was really helpful.

You can hear people moving around in the apartment above due to exposed floorboards. Utensils in the kitchen could be improved. There was no bread knife and that’s a necessity in France where the bread is amazing and there is so much variety to choose from.

I liked the location, close to the main shopping/restaurant streets but then tucked away from it enough to be quiet. From my window I saw the cathedral. Gorgeous! The towels were fluffy, bed and pillows were comfy. The management company was quick to respond when I needed something.

The hot water pot needed to be descaled. The washing machine worked once, but it didn’t turn back on for a second load.

In general, most of it. Great location.

Not a dislike, but not clear which was our parking space, upset a resident, soon resolved.

The heating and hot water wasn't working on arrival inspite of contacting the host it wasn't until the following day that someone came to look at it. this only happened quickly after I mentioned a health problem which could have been made worse by staying in a cold property. It wasn't clear who we should contact about a problem we had two different phone numbers one of them was later proved to be the wrong one
