One Bedroom Basement Flat in Canynge Square

The apartment was spacious and had a bit of character and historical interest. Very convenient quiet location. All the facilities we needed were there. The bath and underfloor heating in bathroom were much appreciated.

This flat is very spacious, characterful and in a very nice location in Clifton. Only a short walk to the village with lovely eateries, to my conference venue and to the park and suspension bridge. The whole area has beautiful buildings, quiet streets, gardens, trees and space. The flat itself was pleasant, warm, characterful and the bathroom and underfloor heating is luxurious. I had a wonderful stay.

Small suggestions: A desk would be great as there was nowhere to use a laptop comfortably and many travellers may have to attend meetings, or do some work. The stone floor is very hard to sit on or to do yoga on and only has a thin kilim - a softer rug or thicker underlay would make the large room much more cosy Providing some olive oil, salt and pepper and some mixed spice and maybe even some proper coffee to use in the coffee makers would be a generous gesture that many properties make these days - it is very tricky for travellers to be able to prepare food without these kitchen basics - you could advertise a local coffee and tea roastery and thereby promote local businesses :) It would make one feel welcomed and like the host has your wellbeing and comfort at heart, instead of feeling like an anonymous Booking.com user being provided with the basic minimum. Oh - a non-stick pan please - surely no-one uses pans you have to scrub having fried some eggs? I eventually figured out how to use the Sonos speaker. The outside door key is difficult and I had a little panic one morning when I couldn't get it open to get out - perhaps it could be improved? I opted to leave it unlocked. The landlords would do well to remember there is someone sleeping just below the room they enter and that sound transfers very loudly - there was often talking and moving of furniture on the ceiling above the flat bedroom after 10:30pm. I hope these suggestions help you to make this beautiful flat more comfortable, even more special for future visitors. I am staying again soon as it is lovely.

Great location, nice and self-contained, comfortable bed and close to some great places to eat etc. I was staying for work, so not really there to enjoy the accommodation, but it was perfect for what i needed. Off-hand 'host' management company were very efficient with comms about access to property etc. Would highly recommend.
