About this house rental
Sunny, elevated newly renovated Rustic House located in bush/stream settings with ocean views to the north. If your looking for tranquility, peacefulness, this is your piece of paradise!
Easy access to some of Raglans best surfing, paddle boarding, kiting, fishing, bike and hiking trails.
Private outdoor area with outdoor dining, firepit and fireplace indoors. Please note wood is supplied from May - September.
If you require more accommodation we have 2 studios, please enquire within.
Our 4 beddy, 2 level home is situated within a complex with 2 other studios. You will have complete privacy and private entrance as there is a corridor that divides the 2 other studios.
2 bathrooms, master downstairs with separate toilet room and ensuite upstairs off queen bedroom.
4 days pre your arrival date I will send relevant information onto you.
If you need to contact me, please email me due to limited cell phone reception in the Whale Bay area.
Easy access to Raglans top surfing, kiting and fishing spots. 2 min drive to Whale Bay, 5 min drive to Manu Bay and under 10min to the main Raglan Beach. Or pop into town for brunch or dinner, or pick up supplies to cook for yourself. Wake up to the sound of native birds in this beautiful bush setting of Nikau and Puriri trees in the backdrop off Mount Karioi and only minutes walk down to Whale Bay.
Tawa Whare is part of a complex of 3 holiday lets with 2 other studios at the rear of the building. Each holiday let is completely separate from the others, no shared spaces with own private decks.
* No charging of electric vehicles, please use charging stations provided in Raglan
* No additional guests to visit/stay unless prior communication with host
* No parties/venue
* We ask our guests are respectful of noise levels with regards to the 2 studio apartments connected to same building
* A portacot has been supplied (based in cupboard in kitchen), please advise if linens are to be provided.

A real jewel in a beautiful setting. Tawa Whare was the perfect place to share time with family during our son's wedding in Raglan. We ended up also renting the two associated studios which easily handled our large group of 11 adults. Julls anticipated all of our needs and made the stay, especially smooth. The surrounding bush forest and sounds of the waves created a perfect peaceful setting. We all highly recommend Tawa Whare.

Great property, great manager. Lovely situation and surroundings. Enjoyed the winter fires!!! And bath!!!No "coffee maker" as listed (tho it didn't worry us.) Also no laundry. Even a clothes line would have been good.Thanks for a delightful stay.
