About this house rental
Modern 4 bd home sleeps 9, the house comprises of 3 bedrooms with a queen , 1 bedroom with a single over double bunk (also included is the 3 bedroom lodge!, lodge sleeps 8 plus.
The lodge comprises of 1 bedroom with a queen , 2 bedrooms with a single over double bunk , also sofa beds .linen NOT included.
Perfect for team building /conferences, also GST registered ..Great harbour views, including the 'heads', especially from rooftop deck. Deck has new gazebo to lay in and star gaze, with Indonesian statues around house, lower covered deck off the bedrooms, including hammocks, cafe setting and large gas bbq...spa pool (DURING WINTER MONTHS ONLY)
Ample parking for up to 3-4 cars. room for a boat and trailer beside the house too .
Many world famous surf spots/kite surfing within a 5 min drive, including surf/swimming beach, with its own life guards, fun for all the family!
10-15 mins stroll to newly developed harbour, inc. cafes, pottery shops etc also only 300m to water if kayaking is your thing.
Warm relaxing vibe to the north facing house, with sun from dawn to dusk.
If relaxing at home is your thing there is always Sky tv with movies and sports channels or surf the net with free WiFi! Not to mention the hammocks under the pergola.
10-15 min walk to central Raglan.
Option to rent surfboards, boogie boards, mtb's, kayak, also linen, if you forget it ($15 per person), or request linen, & have your beds made up before you arrive!?..;)
The new Surfer's Lodge on the ground floor , sleeps up to 8 + people, and can be easily accessed from the house on the first floor . That also has its own Sky decoder, free WiFi and all other amenities.....this gives all your guests options, to watch a different TV channel , or quieter spot or so ?..
The Lodge is sound proofed and quite separate from the primary house, but with a few adjustments it can be easily accessed. Just ask, as I'm sure this would suit sports teams or large family gatherings, ( also I'm GST registered ,for businesses )
Two night minimum stay for weekends.
This house is a beautiful, open plan modern house and I encourage you to appreciate all that it offers. However, I do NOT want it used as a 'PARTY HOUSE', ,( NO bucks or hens nights) ,please do NOT request a booking if that's your intention.
Special conditions:
please vacate by 10am ,arrivals 4pm,unless previously organised.
Surcharge of $80 if you only book for one night.
Extras: Linen (Optional, NZ$15.00 per person); One night surcharge (Optional, NZ$80.00 per stay); Late checkout (Optional, NZ$50.00 per stay)

As described - perfect for a large group with great bedroom configurations and 3 bathrooms, large kitchen/living area. Great views! Highly recommended!

We used this house to house a large family, with 7 young children and 3 couples and 3 single people, plenty of beds including spear mattresses when the little children needed to sleep in separate rooms. we did lots of bike riding around raglan including biking from the house to town and the beach. everyone managed this easily including the steep hills and the garage space was great for storing everyone's bikes and other toys.We used the roof top deck area for nibbles and drinks in the afternoon, great sunset spot.The kitchen has all you need for cooking requirements and a good bbq.having the separate lodge area down stairs was great for the kids to have space to play and it was close to the garage for biking on the driveway.The long driveway allows for privacy and plenty of off street parking..We really enjoyed out stay and cant wait to come back soon.

Huge kitchen bench which was great for 7 of us & still be part of conversation in living room. 3 bathrooms was great for 7 people.

Great property size with enough room for our annual family trip. Warm and in a good location. Property felt a bit tired. Reasonably dirty (old undies and a lots of dust between the washing machine and wall, dirty skirtings) and could do with a deep clean. We had a lovely weekend but probably wouldn’t return.
