We had two weeks here in May/June. This is a lovely, well equipped property right on the beach, on a quiet bay. The owners and the local cleaner were very helpful - accommodating changes to check in times and offering a maid service twice a week. We managed without a car for most of the stay and there’s plenty of great sights and beaches within walking distance (30-60 minutes). This is a great time of year to visit as well - the weather was great, and not too hot, and there were very few people around. Patmos is a lovely island and this is a great property to stay in. The house was beautiful - wonderfully decorated, updated, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning cooled the house well (but we didn’t need it very often as the breeze blew in from the ocean). The host left supplies for breakfast for our first morning with eggs, bread, butter, water and snacks. Excellent communication from host. She arranged for a taxi pickup from the ferry dock when we landed. The house is just a few steps away from the ocean. Being in a protected bay, the waves were small and perfect for swimming. It was a perfect holiday and we will be back!
