About this cottage rental
Located in Merlin, this welcoming cottage brings it all within your reach. Thanks to the convenient onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and enjoy a short 5-minute walk to Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, or easily tackle the quick 2-minute drive to Rogue River.
Once you get back, you can enjoy your surroundings with the patio and BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi, TV, and DVD player.
This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental features a living room, a fireplace, and air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and a stovetop, as well as an ice maker, a microwave, and cookware. And you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll also have a washing machine.

This felt like dropping in to grandma‘s house. This property has been in the owner‘s family for 100 years, and it feels very well lived-in. This is definitely not a sterile hotel room… there’s history here.
Everything you could possibly need is provided and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with family and friends. The main building has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with a twin trundle, with a full bath between them. There’s a large eight seat dining table, and a comfy living room with tables to gather around for games. The second building has a king size bed and full bath with a deck overlooking the creek. There is a heater there, and what looks like a mini split, but we didn’t test it. There is also a washer and dryer in the second building.
Communication with the host was excellent, and they provided a bottle of wine, a water cooler and coffee. It’s also a very pet friendly rental, and they provide towels for the doggos who want to swim in the creek
There is no cell reception here; you’ll have to rely on the Starlink Wi-Fi. With plenty of provided puzzles, games, and books, it’s a cozy place to spend time away from the hustle and bustle. We also loved listening to LPs on the turntable!

Beautiful place, the views are breathtaking. I’m happy to say that if my family goes on another trip I’ll definitely be seeing if this will be available ahead of time!
