We spent 3 nights at Apartments Marmont. The apartment is right in the centre of the main street and very close to the Riva promenade area and the catamarans, ferries, etc. Location is absolutely a 5/5!
Neven was super helpful and responsive with all our many questions even before we arrived. His wife gave us so many good tips about the area, the restaurants, and possible day trips. We ended up spending half a day visiting Trogir based on her recommendations and it was a wonderful day there!
The apartment was clean and really spacious, with a lovely sitting area and kitchen area. The balcony is lovely too! We really appreciated the washing machine and there was a drying rack to use.
The only caution I would have is for anyone with some mobility issues. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and for North Americans, this really means the 4th floor because in Europe, they have ground, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Since the ground floor is the 1st floor in North America, this means the apartment is on the 4th floor. There are 2 full flights of stairs to get to each floor, so there's a lot of climbing up and down. There's no elevator in the building. The stairs are very well-maintained and not high. However, if you have some mobility problems it would be really challenging. Also if you have really large and heavy luggage, it is a long way up and down. This is a caution and nothing to do with the apartment itself. I would give the apartment 5 stars!

We stayed 8 nights in the very clean, nice 2 bedroom apartment that included super comfortable beds, a small kitchen and a large balcony.
It is very easy and convenient to do daytrips from this location, which we did. We went to one of the waterfalls and Dubrovnik.
The apartment has an excellent and very convenient location in the old part of Split. It is close to all amenities. with a small grocery store just around the corner and plenty of good restaurants nearby.
Neven, the owner and his wife are very attentive hosts and upon request, assisted us with the arrangements for the transfer from and to the airport.
Highly recommend.
