Dodo et tartines The10-12

The flat is on a quiet street right around the corner from the main commercial street, Rue Saint Jean, with lots of shops and restaurants. We could easily walk to the cathedral, MAHB museum and the Musee de la Bataille de Normandie. Isabelle, our host, was very accessible and friendly. We had breakfast with other guests on our first morning and it was ample and delicious, with several homemade and organic items. There is a full bath on the bedroom level and a toilet on the lower level. The flat, like most residences in France, is not air conditioned, but Isabelle can supply fans on request. The circular staircase to the bedroom level might be daunting to some - they are not my favorite thing - but with toilets on both levels there is no need to go up and down frequently. There is also a winding staircase to the main level from the street entrance. This is not a good choice for folks with mobility concerns. The kitchen is modern and efficient. It's a very old building, so be prepared for the uneven floor on the main level.
