About this apartment rental

With gorgeous, direct sea views and just a 1 min stroll to the beach, this two bedroom apartment is perfect for couples, families or working professionals with a double sofa bed in the living area too. The spacious, bright living room with incredibly high ceilings includes a designated work space and Smart TV for streaming your favourite platforms, a dining area seating up to 6 guests a fully equipped kitchen and your own private balcony. Just a stone's throw away from the seafront, Brighton Pier and city centre, this is the perfect Brighton getaway!

The original Cheeky Chappie lived in this property in the 1940s & 50s at the height of his fame. Known professionally by his stage name Max Miller and billed as The Cheeky Chappie, this legendary entertainer was an English comedian often considered the greatest stand-up of his generation and a blue plaque marks the entrance to this property with his name.

Bright apartment with spacious living areas and private balcony, this is the perfect place for couples, professionals or for a family to get away.

KITCHEN / DINING AREA
The dining area has a ton of natural daylight pouring in and the fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, microwave, oven, kettle, plus plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery so you can easily cook up a brunch or lunch for everybody. In addition to this we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper - so please help yourself. The dining table seats up to 6 guests.

LIVING ROOM
You’ll find the sociable and light living room set up with a Smart TV and double sofa bed not yet made up as a bed, making it a lovely space for chilling out, getting together for a few drinks or catching up on the events of the day. If you prefer, you can simply relax and watch a movie on the TV or make use of the designated work space.

BATHROOM
- The bathroom has a shower over the bath, sink, mirror and toilet.
We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels and bath mat.

BEDROOMS
There are two bedrooms with a mix of sleeping arrangements to suit your needs. Plenty of fresh bed linen is provided for all beds. Travel Cot and High Chair are available for hire.

- Bedroom 2, zip and link beds, set up as 2 singles but can made into a double on request, sleeps 2

Our Guest Promise

We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time!

Check-In

We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid.

Damage Deposit

We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost.

Smoking

To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available.

Noise

To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!)
Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group.
Please note that call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee.

Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.

Before You Leave and as a consideration to future guests, please:

Wash up the used dishes.
Bag rubbish and use the correct recycling bins.
Return keys to the key safe (OR) Keynest location.
Switch off the lights.
Close all windows.
Turn down the heating.
These steps help us prepare for the next guests and save energy; every little bit counts.

The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. If unsure, please contact us before booking please.

A Quick Note on Deposits and Property Care

If any of the above guidelines aren’t followed, we may need to make deductions from your deposit to cover additional cleaning or damages. We hope that’s never necessary!

Had a lovely stay at the flat . It was wonderful ! Nice and clean and tidy, fantastic.Our stay was very comfortable.The balcony was a bonus !!A couple of suggestions for the future.The flat is for 4-6 people, so a second set of keys which could be left in the key safe would be helpful.A roll of kitchen paper , cling film and foil would have been nice as you do not need a whole roll for a short stay.The tv has to connect to the internet before it will allow you to do anything, at present it is connecting via wi-fi which has a time delay, a hard wire connection to the hub [ six feet away ] would eliminate this problem. Once it gets going (eventually ) it is great.The heating instruction videos are great , but it only covers one out of the three types of different controls for the radiators in the flat.A couple of suggestions to the flat owner to make life easier for all Fit a programmable timer to the towel rail so it is does not have to be left on all the timeFit a larger towel rail as you can just about get two towels on the existing rail [ not four or six ]We had a fantastic time and will be looking to book the flat again later in the year.
