The location was stunning and would have been even more lovely in the warmer months when you could make the most of the outside areas. It was peaceful due to the rural location but close to Matlock for a bigger town if needed although there were good vacinities in Wirksworth too (Birds Nest Chinese takeaway). The cottage was very cosy and felt exceptionally clean. It has everything you need for a few days away and the beds were so comfortable. We would love to come back again sometime.
Small criticism but there were 5 or 6 flies in the living area when we arrived which we didn't have much luck getting out. Appreciate there is not much you can do about this but even providing a fly swat might have been helpful if it's a common occurrence.

We loved the garden and the view
We loved our stay there wasn't anything that we didn't like.
But I did find the number of messages we received to be quite alot and when your busy that level of communication can feel abit overwhelming.

Gorgeous spacious cottage with lovely garden and great facilities
Steps up to the loft rooms quite steep so the kids slept in the downstairs room
