Whether a couple or small group, this charming cottage makes the perfect base for exploring the Peak District. Godfrey Hole Cottage is recently renovated and offers a high standard of accommodation. Traditional features such as the cosy lounge with log burner are combined with modern kitchen, bathroom and Internet access. The terraced rear garden often catches the evening sun. It has seating and a gravelled area for playing ‘boules'. The friendly and helpful owners live just next door at Godfrey Hole House. From here they run 'Zantium Studios' offering an exciting programme of craft courses throughout the year.

The stay was awesome and the house was very comfortable overall. The hosts are very kind and warm and we enjoyed the stay. Lovely wooden fireplace and very cozy atmosphere. Nice and clean and had all the essentials needed. Family friendly and beautiful location. Would definitely recommend. Five stars to everything overall.

We really enjoyed this beautifully furnished and well equipped cottage. We appreciated the clear, concise instructions for all appliances which were displayed where needed rather than having to rummage through a folder. A beautiful area to stay in. We loved walking at the nearby Carsington Water. It hasan excellent visitors' centre and cafe/restaurant.

The cottage is very well presented, comfortable and clean. It was obvious that all Covid protocols had been followed. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay in this lovely cottage in such a beautiful part of the country. Wirksworth is a real gem too.
