Hotel Villa Maïa offers a stunning view of Lyon and the river. The staff are warm, courteous, and genuinely friendly. Rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. It’s quiet at night, making it ideal for restful sleep. The train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, though there are no shops nearby. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym.
The downside is the surrounding area has no shops or eateries nearby.
