Pleasant room with comfortable bed. Staff keen to please - all really helpful. Bedroom good size and quiet. Bathroom rather too small, especially sink and hot water not great .. however all perfectly useable. Value for money and I'd certainly visit again.

A special thanks to Layla for being the sweetest person here- she is a true credit to the Duke of Wellington. I loved the living quarters and the fact they allowed dogs :) My shih tzu had a lovely time meeting other dogs and people at the pub. The evening meal was ok, The katsu curry (my daughter had) was lovely but the Chicken Dianne was dismal :( The location was great as we took a walk to the waterfalls which was quite an adventure if you go off road :). The accommodation wasn't too bad at all. There was a bit of noise from above when other guests shuffled around however you couldn't hear them talking. Overall a very pleasant stay, thank you.

Quaint hotel rooms. Needs a good clean. Shower was mouldy, carpet dirty and old. Bed blanket throw was old and disgusting. Room smelt like wet dog. On the positive, the staff very friendly and the food was good and filling at the adjacent pub.
