L’emplacement parfait pour visiter les lieux historiques et les musées en Normandie. Maison très bien équipée, hôte sympathique et disponible.

Comfortable, quiet and well equipped house. Situated ideally for us so we could easily drive to the Normandy beaches WW2 museums and cemeteries. We could also walk into town to eat and to visit sites there. Bênoit and Caroline met us when we arrived and showed us around the house and how everything worked.

Immaculately clean, spacious and the owners have literally thought of everything. Benoit and Caroline were such gracious hosts. They answered texts very quickly and gave great recommendations for local restaurants (Chateau Saint Gilles being our favorite). The fresh eggs, cider and treats in the fridge on our arrival were a lovely touch. The location was great-a bit of a walk to the town center but certainly doable, and we actually liked not being in the center because it was so peaceful. Bayeux is a lovely city, very historical. We loved the cathedral. We made the mistake of leaving our last day to shop-it was a Monday and we didn’t realize that most of the smaller, independent shops close Sunday/Monday. But Bayeux is so lovely to walk around and explore that it didn’t even matter. We highly recommend this beautiful house.

Fab hosts, warm and generous welcome. Gave lots of advise on where to visit. House clean and comfortable and really well stocked with all you could need. Beautiful peaceful garden to sit in the sun. Great location to cycle into Bayeux and great location to explore Normandy from. Highly recommend.
