The location!

Everything was perfect

The host was incredibly helpful. The property is in close proximity to Old Town Dubrovnik (3 mile/ 40 min walk if not too hot), and directly up the 45 degree hill from the main bus station. €5.50 for 24h bus pass across Dubrovnik including Old, Town and some lovely local (out of town) beaches. Stikovica beach was a short uber trip away and was our favourite as was clean and not as crowded as some of the other main ones, it also had a cafe/bar, toilets, showers and the ability to rent kayas, boats or SUP boards. View was great from the twin room balcony across the bay, main bedroom view was nice but was partly impeded by roof of the property in front. 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms (as property is actually 2 flats not a house) makes it much easier for larger groups. Ability to have multiple age groups in the same location is a bonus especially with the lounge/diners and terraces.

Cruise ships can be little noisy and a new one docks early every morning. It was fun to see all the different types though. 300+ steps up from the bus station to the property, or a walk along a busy road from the nearest local route - not terrible but not easy for those less able on their feet as some parts do not have hand rails (including between upper and lower flats) and definitely not suitable for anyone for anyone with mobility needs. Aircon is only in the kitchens which can mean the bedrooms are hotter at night even with shutters closed.

It was very easy to communicate with the hosts who are very helpful. The bedrooms are brand new ones and clean. We enjoyed spending our time at spacious terraces that offer magnificent sea views! The house is very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Location is nice also. It was easy to walk to the restaurants, supermarkets, bus station near the house, etc. This was one of the best properties where I have stayed in the private accommodation.

Lokalizacja domu w dzielnicy na obrzeżach miasta, na wzgórzu z pięknym widokiem na morze. Trzeba jednak pamiętać że do obiektu prowadzą schody. Chwilę trzeba poświęcić żeby się tam dostać. Jeśli ktoś ma problemy z poruszaniem się to nie polecam wchodzenia od dołu. Rezerwując ten dom trzeba mieć to na uwadze. Jest też możliwość dostania się do obiektu od góry z tym, że jest tam bardzo ruchliwa droga i brak poboczy. Zdarzyło się że skorzystaliśmy z Ubera, który podwiózł nas do zatoczki znajdującej się centralnie nad domem. W takim wypadku trzeba zejść kilkoma schodami żeby dostać się do domu. Właścicielka bardzo pomocna i responsywna nawet późnymi godzinami. Chętna do pomocy, udzieliła nam informacji dotyczących rejsów. Ciepła woda po włączeniu bojlera. Na wyposażeniu domu pralka. Kosmetyki dostępne w łazienkach. Ręczniki zapewnione. W szafach dodatkowe kołdry, koce i poduszki. Kuchnia wyposażona chyba we wszystko co potrzebne.

Dom ma 5 sypialni, ale należy pamiętać że jest podzielony na dwa domy. Żeby z górnego domu dostać się do dolnego trzeba zejść kilka schodków. Domy posiadają odrębne "balkony/dziedzińce" i bramy, z których wchodzi się do środka. Jeśli ktoś szuka domu z 5 sypialniami w znaczeniu, że wszystkie pokoje są w jednym domu to trzeba mieć na uwadze, ze jest to podzielone na dwa odrębne domy o osobnymi wejściami. W górnym domu są trzy sypialnie (2 z balkonami), kuchnia, łazienka. Na tarasie/dziedzińcu jest duży stół z krzesłami, super miejsce na zjedzenie śniadania i wypicie kawy. W dolnym ten sam układ z tym, że tam są dwie sypialnie (małe okna). W dolnym domu lekki zapach stęchlizny. Zwarta zabudowa domów. Ułożone kaskadowo z uwagi, że znajdują się na stromym wzgórzu. Drzwi wejściowe w górnym domu wystarczyło pchnąć żeby same się otwarły. Do centrum około 4 km, także lokalizacji trzeba wybrać świadomie.
