The host was incredibly helpful.
The property is in close proximity to Old Town Dubrovnik (3 mile/ 40 min walk if not too hot), and directly up the 45 degree hill from the main bus station. €5.50 for 24h bus pass across Dubrovnik including Old, Town and some lovely local (out of town) beaches. Stikovica beach was a short uber trip away and was our favourite as was clean and not as crowded as some of the other main ones, it also had a cafe/bar, toilets, showers and the ability to rent kayas, boats or SUP boards.
View was great from the twin room balcony across the bay, main bedroom view was nice but was partly impeded by roof of the property in front.
2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms (as property is actually 2 flats not a house) makes it much easier for larger groups.
Ability to have multiple age groups in the same location is a bonus especially with the lounge/diners and terraces.
Cruise ships can be little noisy and a new one docks early every morning. It was fun to see all the different types though.
300+ steps up from the bus station to the property, or a walk along a busy road from the nearest local route - not terrible but not easy for those less able on their feet as some parts do not have hand rails (including between upper and lower flats) and definitely not suitable for anyone for anyone with mobility needs.
Aircon is only in the kitchens which can mean the bedrooms are hotter at night even with shutters closed.

It was very easy to communicate with the hosts who are very helpful. The bedrooms are brand new ones and clean. We enjoyed spending our time at spacious terraces that offer magnificent sea views! The house is very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Location is nice also. It was easy to walk to the restaurants, supermarkets, bus station near the house, etc. This was one of the best properties where I have stayed in the private accommodation.
Everything was fine and I couldn't complain about anything.
