The location was fabulous, 5 mins walk from the station. Although it’s next to The station and you can hear the trains they’re not loud and don’t bother you at all and they don’t run through the night so we weren’t woken up by them. Great place to Stay to visit the 5 terre as La Spezia is actually a great city and when you e been out all day visiting the 5 terre and want to go for Dinner close to The house there’s lots of choice. Highly recommend ristorante Roma just around the corner, we’re Italian and in the restaurant business and was very good and not touristy.
The stairs are windy and steep and a bit tricky if travelling with elderly as we were however they managed ok and there is also a bedroom down stairs which helps.
