Entire Apartment by City Centre & Harbourside

Location of the apartment was excellent, just a couple of hundred yards from the central dock area we wished to explore, and very close to an interesting pub called the Coronation. Plenty of eating out places nearby. Flat was comfortable and warm, with a good large TV and streaming service.

Kitchen was a little disappointing, with not a lot of pots/pans and a lack of cooking knives (just one breadknife, and a very large knife, neither of which was useful for cutting veg/fruit). Also, a larger dinning table would have been nice as the only table in the room was not really big enough for two people to eat at comfortably. However, as there were so many good places to eat nearby, neither problem was a huge issue. Finally, a gripe with every apartment rented, there was no folding step available so that short people could reach the higher cupboards.

Very large flat with generous lounge and bedroom, high ceilings and a big smart t.v. Reasonably equipped kitchen. Good location within walking distance of city centre, and shops & restaurants close by. Free, on-street parking with resident permit provided.

Very small shower room & toilet, which is located at opposite end of the flat from the bedroom could be a problem for some. Main problem, however, is the management of the property. Despite lengthy email instructions, at no point were we given an address or postcode by which to find the property, despite requesting this twice. Only clue was "big blue door", which is difficult to put in a satnav! Standard emails which repeatedly asked for car reg already given & no acknowledgement that this had been received. Also on-street parking availability varied from 50 yards away to several hundred yards away.

Location was excellent...just across the river from Wapping wharf. Wapping wharf has restaurants and the M shed museum. SS Great Britain nearby. ASDA grocery close by. Apartment was spacious and clean. Hosts were very responsive.

Shower drainage was bad. Oven was extremely dirty. Extraction fan doesn’t work. Kitchen was not clean, you have to clean up yourself if you want to use it.
