It was in an amazing location and a beautiful comfortable house.
All the kitchen door handles were greasy but the rest of the property was great

We came to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday with 3 generations of family. We absolutely loved the fantastic views & peaceful location. The large spacious indoor & outdoor areas were great. Our dog was super happy with the expansive green areas to play in.
It was wonderful to hear the native birds day & night. The hot powerful shower was awesome & the place had great internet. The kitchen had everything we needed & there was plenty of linen & towels too.
We really appreciated the property manager letting us check in early & leave later.
A day before we arrived we were sent a message to let us know the 2nd oven was broken and the sky box was no longer available due to the sale of the property. On arrival we were disappointed to find that the place was not as portrayed as in the photos.
There were not 2 bathrooms as advertised. The games & dvd's were no longer there. It was very obvious that the place needed alot of maintenance, care, love & a deep clean.
The shower dripped continously 24/7, all the cupboard handles in the kitchen were dirty & some missing or broken. The toilet was smelly & yuk. The downstairs bedroom had a terrible musty smell. The bbq gas bottle was empty. There was not enough toilet paper for 7 people for 3 nights. Some of the beds, mattresses & pillows were definitely past their use by date.
The property manager responded quickly with excuses about it having new owners but on review of previous guests comments it appears some of these issues have been noted before without any rectification, even though the property manager had said they were sorted.
If the property is not up to standard & you are aware of issues, it should not be let to paying customers until they are fixed. It's that simple!
We recommend putting up a photo of the letter boxes at the entrance to the property as Google maps is not correct, 1 group missed the entrance & drove on for a while trying to find the place.
