About this house rental
Enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer, without the crowds, in this peaceful and conveniently located CA getaway in the beautiful neighborhood of Serene Lakes.
Our cozy, fully-stocked cabin is in the heart of this gem. Situated on a quiet street, amongst evergreens and a stream right in the backyard, you’ll be steps away from the lake and a short drive from the best skiing and winter sports in Tahoe with Sugar Bowl, Boreal, and Royal Gorge within 10 min, and Northstar and Palisades 30 min.
The space
On the first floor you can enjoy the cozy living space extended from the fully stocked kitchen. There is a radiant heater, and fireplace with plenty of wood available that will heat the home. On this floor is also the first bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, laundry room, and access to outdoor patio and backyard.
On the second floor, you’ll have 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The first bedroom has a king bed, the second has a full and 3 twin beds and access to the second floor patio, and the third has 2 twin beds.
Relax with tea or a meal together on one of the three patios, take a walk along the stream behind the home, or take the paddle boards or canoes down to the lake during warm weather seasons.

Very accommodating host. We were unlucky that we stayed during a heatwave, but at least there were a few boxed fans for use! The cabin has an authentic rustic feel, is tastefully decorated, and is well maintained. Caesar is also very accessible in case we needed to reach him. Would recommend staying here!

The cabin was a cozy, comfortable older cabin. There was construction going on next door, which kept it from being as quiet and peaceful as I'd have liked, but otherwise it was a great stay.

We had such a nice stay at the Yuba House. It was so cozy, adorable and perfectly decorated to feel right at home! It had everything (and more) we needed, including legos and other toys for our little kids. The location was peaceful and convenient as a base for our winter adventures but also it was the perfect place to just stay and relax at the cabin. The hosts were very responsive when we needed assistance and incredibly helpful (including mailing something we left). We plan to make it a family tradition and will stay here again!
