Welcome to the Luxe Lodge at Gold Mountain!
Plan an unforgettable stay at this luxury 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom custom home, set on 1.5 private acres with stunning views of the 16th hole of The Dragon, Nakoma’s 18-hole championship golf course. Nestled within a gated resort community, the Luxe Lodge offers the perfect blend of quiet serenity and upscale modern amenities.

•The Home
A private driveway leads you to this custom estate surrounded by towering pines.
Designed for family gatherings or couples’ retreats, the home features a spacious great room, multiple private spaces, and inviting outdoor areas.
The grand entrance opens to a light-filled living area with extraordinary high ceilings, exposed wood beams, and a dramatic 20-foot stone fireplace. A plush sectional provides the perfect spot for games, movies, or group gatherings.
The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked and ideal for entertaining, with seating for everyone:
- 4 barstools at the island
- 2 additional island seats
- Breakfast nook for 4 with forest views
- Formal dining area for 6
•Outdoor Living
Step outside to the serene courtyard, where cozy seating surrounds a fire table—perfect
for morning coffee, evening views, or a soak in the private hot tub. The opposite side of
the great room opens to a wraparound deck overlooking the golf course and forest,
complete with a BBQ grill and picnic space.
•Bedrooms
- Grand Master Suite: King bed, fireplace, OLED TV, forest views, walk-in closet,
blackout shades, oversized jetted tub, and steam shower.
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed with golf course views, shares a full bath with Bedroom 3.
- Bedroom 3: Twin bunk bed + trundle (3 beds total), desk/workspace, fast Wi-Fi.
- Private Studio (Bedroom 4): Separate entry, king bed, OLED TV, kitchenette, fridge,
private deck, and en-suite bath with walk-in shower.
•Bonus Spaces
There is also a bonus loft area with TV, games, plus Full size futon, and space for a queen air mattress, twin air mattress, or both. We now also have ping pong and foosball tables in the garage for your entertainment and sleds to enjoy the fresh snow
in winter months.
Complimentary seasonal snow plowing included (1x per day).

Guests may upgrade for exclusive access to the 12,000 sq. ft. Altitude Recreation Center, featuring:
- Olympic-size heated pool & jacuzzi

- Kids’ playroom & teen game room
- Private movie theater with concessions
- On-site bar & bistro

Just 15 minutes away is Downtown Graeagle with fun family friendly holiday activities year round! Enjoy amazing community organized trick or treating, 4th of July celebration, farmers markets, craft fairs, and more! There is a gas station and convenience store, along with adorable cafes and restaurants and Mill Pond for recreational walking, fishing, kayaking, and swimming.
Ten minutes East, there is a Leonard’s grocery store, Quincy Co-op Natural Foods market, various restaurants, 2 gas stations, and a dollar store in the quaint town of Portola. A full list of restaurants for eat in and pick up is included in our welcome book.
A gorgeous 1 hour drive through the forest from Reno/Tahoe airport and just 55 minutes from Truckee/Tahoe, the Luxe Lodge is the perfect getaway. We are also located just minutes from four other public golf courses!

Had a Wonderful experience with family. Wanted a place big enough to accommodate three families, close to wedding venue. Beautiful house and surrounding area. Nice and quiet with all the amenities we needed and things we hadn't even thought of...

We loved the place. Two problems: we were not told about the “no shoes indoors” until the night before which was an issue for my mother who wears an ankle brace and has to wear shoes to cover that brace- this was problematic to take shoes off and on and get around without the stability of her shoes. If we had more time we possibly could have made accommodation for her. We also did not get the WiFi code until day two which caused my son to go into massive apoplexy ( ) maybe have that available upon entry as to not ignite tween children and save parents their hearing.. the house was amazing and the club was gorgeous. Will you be putting chairs outside for summer on the deck? It would have been great to have chairs outside to sit on around the spa and deck- I am nit picking- the place it great!!! If this were my house and I wanted to keep it up I would want to know this: the shower curtains in 1st bathroom are too short and the water will run out of basin if person is not careful and cause water damage in the long run. The window in the master bath doesn’t lock and can be used to get in. As guests- we loved the house, as an owner, I would want to know if my house can be damaged. Hope this helps!! Love the place tho!!!

I and my dear friend's family, including spouse, two children and two friends of the children had a wonderful gathering in the spacious, well provisioned and wi-fi connected residence. We enjoyed adventures to the surrounding lake areas with great hikes and dips in the water, lunching, then returning to the resort to relax or visit the Altitude recreation center accommodating many types of activities, as well as food service. I enjoyed the place by myself for the second half of my stay, dining at the resort restaurant, Fifty44, twice with excellent cuisine and service. Both prior, during and after my stay, Manager Brooke Parent was interested in how things were going and helped expedite arrangements for resort access as the configuration of the guests that joined me
changed. Thanks so much!
