The resort goes from the top of a steep hill (tiny mountain?) to the bottom. The Whale House is at the bottom next to a rushing creek, surrounded by tall trees and vegetation. Even though we had to give up our original reservation at the top that overlooked the entire resort and the beach, The Whale House setting turned out to be fascinating because of the foliage and forest life. Lots of science to explore with the relaxing background noise of the creek. Thanks, Vacasa, for listening to us and being so accommodating.

Super charming little cabin at Whales Head Beach Resort. It's the perfect size for a small family and pet friendly. They provided dog blankets which was lovely. It's not to far from the tunnels that lead to the beach, however be prepared to get wet as there is water in the tunnels. Vacasa was super easy and accommodating. We had a small concern about the place, and vacasa was very helpful and understanding. I would definitely use vacasa to book another trip!
