About this house rental
Beach Comber is a 3 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront home 50 feet from the beach with private access to the beach with the main floor being the second floor. We are located about 30 miles north of the OREGON/CALIFORNIA border on the southern Oregon coast. This home has hardwood floors and a large gourmet kitchen with tile counters. Fireplace, large west side deck with large windows for ocean and coastline views. Easy beach access over a low dune and a 3 mile long open and sandy beach with large off shore sea stacks, view whales, seals, sea lions and shore birds from the property and views north to the Cape Blanco light house 25 miles north and south 15 miles to Cape Sebastian.
The master suite has a king bed and private bath with shower. Sliding doors to the deck. Our second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom also has a queen and share a full bath with tub/shower. We have a full laundry, iron and supplies. There is a sun room off the second bedroom with access to the main deck and access to the deck from the living room and dining room. The home is fully furnished with all linens, bedding and towels down to the coffee and the tea bags. There is a gas BBQ and a wood burning deck fireplace.
The first floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and 2 single garages. Firewood is supplied
We have the ocean at our front door and the Coast Range mountains at our back door and great view in all directions.
Gold Beach is a small town OF 2,500 1 mile south with restaurants, shops, food stores and marina, JET BOAT tours upriver and FISHERMAN'S DIRECT a fresh fish, fresh crab at the port.
Year round fishing on the wild and scenic Rogue River or six others in the area. Ocean fishing charters available. Crabbing, clamming, beach combing and site seeing at your door.

This home on a bluff above the glorious Oregon coast was incomparable, as was our host, truly the best of the best! There was no "weak point", not a single disappointment. The host, David, was the kindest of men, delivering for our use anything we asked a question about --even if an item which we had no earthly reason to expect, such as a saw! He left very special treats for us as well, and his immediate availability was astonishing! Over the top extraordinary overall experience in the most amazing location possible! Thank you, David!!
