About this villa rental
Ancient farmhouse from 1400 with private Garden, Jacuzzi,Sauna, Fitness equipment, pool table in the middle of the Monferrato vineyards. The recently renovated dwelling is arranged on 3 floors : on the second floor we have the entrance with dining room and fireplace ( working with Bioethanol), kitchen, living room with sofa bed and Smart Tv, laundry area and large bathroom with tub and shower. There is also a stereo for music in the facility. On the ground floor ( 9 steps) we have the typical Monferrato vaulted tavern with wine corner, billiards,Sauna. On the top floor we find 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms one of which ensuite. To access the attic room with king size bed and air conditioning you enter from the bathroom. The fenced garden is equipped with Bbq,table and chairs, Badminton, ping pong, Hammock, 2 deck chairs and small pool for children.
The dwelling is ideal for those who want to relax with the wonderful views of the Monferrato Unesco heritage site. For sportsmen and women in the vicinity there are several bicycle and pedestrian paths that flank the river ( 1km from the dwelling); the path of the famous Big Bench inside the Vineyards that Start from Novese (60km), passing through Ozzano Monferrato ( the closest 2km) and arrive up to Monforte d'alba in the Langhe (80KM). Do not miss the route in the Infernot of Monferrato recognized as Unesco heritage : typical cellars where the wine is still preserved ( In the historical center of Ozzano the first one ). Monferrato is also famous for its wines, truffles to taste in the many wineries in the area. For history lovers, the territory is known as the area with the highest concentration of castles, each village in fact has its own castle, starting from the medieval Ozzano Monferrato , to the nearby San Giorgio (2km), to the Bulgari castle (8km). Not to be missed is a visit to the smallest village in Europe, Moncalvo (5km) and Serralunga di Crea, also a Unesco World Heritage Site (8.5km).For children there are numerous water parks nearby, including the first tropical park in Italy (35km). For chocolate lovers a must is the town of Novi Ligure ( rich in history between Liguria and Piedmont 58Km ) and Alba in the Langhe (68KM). For shopping lovers 70 km away is the famous Outlet the largest in Europe, and on the way back a stop in the cellars of Gavi is recommended! In October Monferrato and the Langhe are populated with the famous wine and truffle festivals.
Note that the side of the house is not usable by guests as storage.
In all Unesco heritage areas you will find separate waste collection.
There are bins outside the barn to help you separate your waste, but they must be taken away before you leave. You will find plastic, glass and paper on the slope to the left of the house. Wet waste should be left in the larger bin and placed in front of the house every second Friday evening (according to the schedule inside the house) on the street.
Cats not allowed
The whirlpool is open from 01.05 to 30.09 and is not heatable.
Families with children of all ages are welcome. The important thing to remember is that the maximum capacity is 8 guests (including children and infants).

We stayed here for a week over Christmas as a group of three friends and had a really lovely time. The house is large, spacious and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax without ever feeling on top of each other. It’s set in a quiet location, which made it especially peaceful over the holiday period.The kitchen was well equipped and ideal for preparing meals, and the beds were comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. The heating worked well throughout the house, so everywhere felt cosy despite the winter weather.A particularly thoughtful and much-appreciated touch was the Christmas tree that had been put up and decorated for our arrival — it really added to the festive atmosphere and made the house feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the selection of books and games, which were perfect for relaxed evenings in.The house has lots of character as an older stone building with curved ceilings. With that in mind, there were a few cobwebs in places, which is understandable and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.Overall, it was a comfortable, well-equipped and welcoming place to stay, and we would happily recommend it.
