About this house rental
Casa Angiolina is a 1800 farmhouse built to welcome the court tailor during the summer stays of the Savoy royal family at the famous Castello di Govone, Savoy residence and Unesco world heritage site. The house was purchased by my great-grandfather and since then it has always belonged to my family, modernized in respect of the original structure and also furnished with furniture and furnishings from the Castle; the internal wooden doors and original, have the typical period decoration, and are the same as those of the castle of Govone and Guarene.
Casa Angiolina stands on top of the village, near the Castle, with spectacular views of the vineyards and hazel groves of the Roero and Langhe, facing the "Zuckerberg" hill, and is surrounded by greenery and flowers in its large garden and pergola, just a few minutes by car from Alba, Asti, Barbaresco, half an hour from Barolo and one hour from Turin.
Casa Angiolina has an area of 220 square meters in the main house, a pergola with a greenhouse and a garden with orchard and vegetable garden available to guests of about 1 hectare.
The ground floor of the main house consists of the entrance, a large living room with fireplace, furnished with antiques and independent overlooking the garden from the west, a large living room with fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and oven included, furnished with original furniture and facing on the bright and airy veranda; the veranda has a fireplace and a large window that makes it pleasantly enjoyable even in the colder seasons; a bathroom and laundry room and a service room.
On the first floor, which is accessed by an original stone staircase, we have 4 large and bright double bedrooms, each fully furnished with period furniture and furnishings, and with windows and balcony or terrace with table and chairs, 1 bathroom with large shower room and 1 bathroom with bath / shower. In the rooms it is possible to add a cot for children.
The house is fully equipped, equipped with every comfort, TV in the living room and wi-fi with coverage throughout the house, with the possibility of reserved outdoor parking.
Conditions of hospitality: Casa Angiolina is ideal for relaxation, and as a base for food and wine tours or for active holidays, equipped to accommodate cycling enthusiasts. Children are our best guests and we are very keen to share with our guests the vegetable garden and orchard cultivated with natural methods.
Our guests are asked not to smoke and we prefer not to host animals. Disabled access is possible on the ground floor, where there is a bed in the living room.
We accept early and long-term bookings, and ask to stay for a minimum of 3 nights.

Loved the house, extremely cozy and Cristina's reception was marvelous. Plenty of room, super tidy, perfect for friends and families with kids.
The location is also perfect. Alba is just around the corner and it's the midpoint between Barolo and Asti, the sweet spot to tour the region by car.
Can't wait to go back during summer to experience it in a different way!

We spent a week at this lovely home. Christina was a pleasure to work with. She is extremely helpful and accommodating. She gave us lots of good information about the area and helped us with restaurant recommendations and setting up tours. The house is spacious and charming. I'm sure that it would be even more lovely in the spring or summer when the garden is growing and the house could be opened up.
