comfortable beds, and chairs. clean and pleasant décor, variety of rooms so family could spread out a bit. carpets in many rooms, as against some holiday homes, as wooden floors hurt my arthritic feet! thoughtful provision of emergency hot drinks, condiment sauces, washing tablets etc which really make the difference. lovely conservatory and garden to sit in too. really relaxing place to stay.
it was tricky to find it so the number displayed nearer the road would help. its also not very easy to get on and off the drive into the road, but not a huge issue. there was only 1 socket in the dining room which is the most logical one for using computers etc in. but an extension lead was found. the door code was delayed in arriving but the host was really responsive about it and beyond.
