The bedding was comfortable, and each bedroom had its own bathroom. This was the best feature of this rental property. Location of house was good and made it convenient to travel to nearby locations. However, just to be clear you need to take a vehicle to get to all locations including the beach. Overall the house was clean!
Kitchen was dated, dishes were minimal, in-particular glass-wear and zero wine glasses. Neighborhood had dated houses and their properties were not maintained. Some neighbors would be labels as hoarders.

This is an absolutely lovely home to stay in! There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom! That in itself was awesome with our group. The kitchen has everything you need, and the air conditioning takes the edge off the hotter days. A nice big driveway made it easy for our two vehicles, and it was perfect.
I can't really think of anything. The neighborhood has lots of dogs that barked in the day, but they didn't bark at night, so that was good.
I could comment about the price, but that's all of Kona lol! Compared to everything else we could find this was respectively a great deal!

Great location for Kona Kailua! The house fit all 7 of us with no problems. We used the beach equipment they provided. It was great to have chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The washer and dryer got a work out! Nice quiet neighborhood.
It got a warm during the afternoon and the air conditioning had a problem keeping up.

The owner was easy to deal with and because Kona Surf is a name used in an area of the Keauhou district, I thought this was in a completely different neighborhood. I was happy to find out it was off of Royal Poinciana. It was good for my coworkers to see a real Kona neighborhood where my friends have lived.
If there had been a mechanism to communicate with the host by text, it would have allayed some of my fears. I understand why, but I was nervous not confirming the lock box until the day before. The lockbox itself stuck, so it took some maneuvering to coax it open.
