La posizione è ottima, in pieno centro storico. Il parcheggio a pagamento più vicino è quello di Saint Claire a 300 mt (per 2 gg abbiamo pagato 22€). Alloggio carino, ben arredato ma vivibile solo per pochi giorni. Informazioni chiare dell'host per il recupero delle chiavi.
Il divano letto è scomodissimo, praticamente l'aspetto peggiore della nostra vacanza. Poi, pur essendoci 2 finestre, non entra luce esterna perché si affacciano su cortiletti interni molto bui. Il bagno piuttosto piccolo. Ideale solo per pochi giorni.

Location, location, location. That's basically what you're getting with this property; a niche in the middle of historic Annecy whose street entrance spills right out into the heart of the old town. Can't speak well enough to the location itself. We found it to be quiet and generally comfortable. The small studio apartment was clearly part of some larger historic building with ancient arches built into the walls which was quite interesting, but a lot of the potential charm was lost on an overall dirty, dingy upkeep which we mention in the rest of the review.
Not a positive aspect, but as we ran out of room in the "negatives" section which I would strongly recommend reading before booking.
It bears mentioning that somebody tried accessing the door with a moderate push while we were in the property which was an uncomfortable situation, but thankfully it was locked from the inside and didn't cause a problem. I shutter to think of what could have happened had we not taken this basic precaution.
The facilities were ok, some parts of which had seen better days. The 100l hot water tank depleted itself rather quickly with a long recovery, barely adequate for our family of 4.
Unfortunately the drawbacks exceeded the benefits. There is a separate check-in site which requires you to put in a credit card for an additional 400 Euro deposit, the link to which is provided only shortly before arrival. Although notice of this requirement is provided as one of the property photos in the listing, the notice is in French and cannot be translated as it is an image not text. Since the link is only provided shortly before check-in, if you do not have regular internet access or an international data plan it is problematic. Once we were able to access a wifi hotspot, the site didn't function properly and essentially had our family of four including two young children standing outside in the rain without a way to get in. The rental apparently uses a property management company who we found somewhat unhelpful if not disagreeable.
Upon entering the property we were greeted by a combination of musty odor and stale cigarette smell. It was very poorly lit (not at all like the listing photos) and surprisingly dirty with what appeared to be a cursory at best cleaning between stays. The floors had dirt, hair, and crumbs along the edges, under tables and other furniture. The side table looked as if somebody had just snacked on it and left their crumbs. We had to make the upper bed loft up ourselves and although the linens were clean the mattress, pillows, and duvet were not. The pillows had blood specs and other stains as well as hairs and crumbs on both the pillows and duvet. We double covered everything. The smaller decorative throw pillows were nasty and the towels had seen better days with baked on stains and crusty spots.
The TV could only be operated from about 1m distance using the controller.
After weeks of traveling Europe in similar rentals, this stood out as an unpleasant exception. Other than the location, we would not recommend it.
