Chris was magnificent one man show, running the chalet and cooking excellent meals.
The location is superb the Swiss alps are magnificent so good for the soul.
Zero however you need to walk in so backpacks are essential.

Chris could not have been more accommodating. We felt like guests in his home. He also cooked us an exceptional meal.
The hotel was much further from town than we realized. You need to pack lightly because you must walk from town to the hotel.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel direkt an der Piste. Christoph ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, dem das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste am Herzen liegt. Der Racletteplausch zum Abendessen war genial.

Location was spectacular. Getting to the hotel from the nearest train station takes a bit of time (around 20-30 minutes), but the trek is completely worth it as you will be treated to unbelievable views upon arrival. Our room had breakfast included. Breakfast was no frills but exactly what we needed. The operators of the hotel were amazing. Chris is a fantastic human being and took care of us marvelously during our stay. Selena and Auda were kind and friendly and extremely helpful. I can't speak highly enough of our time at Hotel Restaurant Sonnenberg.
I really don't have any complaints. We loved our stay at this hotel and would happily stay there again.
